Re: Saturday, April 19th: EAST COAST CHOWFEST 2008

It looks like an awesome time!!! I can't wait to attend the next one instead of being tied up for the weekend. I was visiting my mom, and I showed her and her husband the pictures of your beautiful dogs and they were very impressed. We also happened to find out that one of their neighbors has two ch...

Re: Any chows in MD?

So YAY, the landlady has no problems with me having a dog in the condo! She just has some concerns about the mess a puppy might create around the place... but I think I can deal with that... anyway, just celebrating this small step in the right direction. Now all I need to do is some saving up! :D

It was the great walk, and Special is such a sweet sweet chow... I thought I was sold on the creams and cinnamons, but I dunnooooo. So nice to get the perspective of a real life chow owner, I'm feeling less anxious now about being a good chowmama! Everyone has been so kind!

Re: Any chows in MD?

Hi all, and thanks for the welcome! The more I research on chows and read up on postings here, the more I just want my chow right now!! I appreciate all the information that's been put on this site. Plus it's dispelled some of the myths I've been hearing, especially on the so-called aggressiveness o...

Re: Any chows in MD?

Yes, I'm so excited to have a big chow of my own!! Just trying to square away a few things before I become a chow mom, but sometimes I can't wait! I have been getting a lot of insight thanks to reading up on the site. But a little time meeting a chow in real life seems like the next step... as one o...

Any chows in MD?

Hi, I'm kind of new to the forum... and probably one of the few chow-less members! You all seem so helpful to others that I just thought I'd share one of my questions... I've been wanting a dog for a while, and have started researching and doing my homework on different dog breeds. I never had a dog...
