How could this guy be so insensitive? And then to act like he was looking out for the dog becuase it had gotten out. As if dogs never get out. I hope this guy gets his foot ran over by a semi.

That seems just right. How many times have we all talked about the fact that no matter how many beds you buy most chows will still prefer the ground.

Re: Chow question
I would say since it is your first chow to either go to a chow specific rescue or get a puppy. You should do allot of homework first so you get to fully understand what comes with chows. They are aloof, stubborn and perfect. If you choose to go to a pound or shelter I would ask if they can give you ...

Re: Police kill dog
This is what happens when for too long we have let our police departments do what they will without any consequences. We keep complaining about this, but really what can/or will be done. There is never enough people on the same agenda at the same time. We cannot keep up with all the corruption and p...

Re: LA fire chief beats puppy to death.
This is a horrible nasty case. In the end though I bet he gets off with a fine and a max of 90 days in jail. He could get up to four, but I don't see that happening. Even if he did he would only serve two. I hate that men like this guy even get a chance to rise up to the level that he did. You don't...

Re: Moving back to the states
I am really happy but hesitent at the same time. I hate the whole moving process. But ur right I am happy to go home. there is a list of 5 that they should pick from, Layla, two of them are Washington. Fairchild and McChord. Of course I am hoping for McChord but who knows.

Re: What is your worst experience with chows?
Chows are easy to house train especially if you use the crating method. They are easy to train if you are respectful of thier strong will, but just as stubborn as they are...they chew when they are teething, but normally that does not turn into a habit. They are not normally into frilly things like ...

Moving back to the states
Well we found out yesterday we are being moved back to the states. Don't know where yet...could be a couple of weeks before we know where we are going. I am hoping somewhere warm. but not humid, near some woods. Yea I know I am dreaming. On the up side I have heard it is allot easier bringing your p...

Re: How do you celebrate Halloween?
Well being in the Germany and until recently working in the Netherlands I can say for the most part they do not celebrate Halloween. however, last year and I have heard in the recent years it is catching on in the areas around the bases. They are starting to dress up and have halloween parties. You ...

Re: Solo the Escape Artist
Getting a fence that is in the ground a good 2 feet works... but I understand that can be pricey. I like Jeffs idea about the raised bed that sounds like a good idea...make ur yard look good and keep your chow safe.

Re: What are your chows' favorite toys?
Ivana likes stuffed animals. No squeakies or anything in them. Really you just have to buy a bunch and give them a try. Eventually, she will let you know. Allot of people swear by the kongs and rawhide bones. But I think just like humans every chow is different.

Re: Hello Everyone NC
Auddy-Ivana had some cancerous spots in her bum area. But she had some treatments and is all better. They say she will have to be periodically checked for reoccurance. Remember she kept having problem and needed draining (i know kinda gross to talk about) well a german doc took some samples and it t...

Re: Deputy shoots dog, was it right or wrong?
The cop was very wrong. First he could have gotten back into his cruiser...and like Chris said why wouldn't he just ask dispatch for directions...weird. To me it just looked like the dog running up to the cop. If he was growling or not I don't know. But to me it just looked like he was running up to...

Yes, it was. The my oldest loves the snow you have to drag her inside. But my 3 year old is not a fan. She thinks it is too cold and would rather play inside then get all wet and cold. It is funny how differnt they can be. Ivana loves the snow as well she will try to eat flakes and rolls around in i...

Re: Where's Redangie?
Guten Tag, Y'all. I am here. No just been busy and very very slow German internet. I went back to work and Ivana's illness has kept us tied up. I have not been able to do much lately. I changed jobs to security for AAFES (department store for the military), and I am just about to change to superviso...
