I think I'm going to be a sneaky mom and put a tasty, shiny bow back on the tree, right at eye level and watch them all like a hawk. When one even goes near it, I'll do my best wild banshee "NNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! BBBBBBBBBBBAAAAADDDDDDDD GIRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRLLLLLLL!!!!" Hopefully that wil...

Death to Christmas Tree!!

So Pudding (I think) is chewing the tree when, and only when, we are out. Both cats were with us last year, and they would knock down the occasional ornament, but not every time we go out! And there are fresh needles (we have a fresh tree) and chewed ribbon everywhere. How do I make it stop? I never...

Awww.... too beautiful!!!! They do grow up so fast... How is everyone dealing with chows and trees? Pudding is chewing on the tree while we're not home (even with Bitter Apple on it) and we can't punish her since we don't catch her doing it. She never touches it while we're not home and DH is starti...

I took all of those classes for my Nutrition and International Business degrees. Everything but the Anatomy shouldn't be a problem taken online as long as the courses are well-planned and you keep in touch with the instructor and ask questions. The Business English was a lot of writing and presentin...

Pudding here 8) Tigger, I'm with you on the snow, I've never seen it except on the computer either, and it's not fair!!! Chows unite and make it snow inside the house! I have a new idea for snow, and it's more colorful. You wait until the bipeds are out of the house, and then you grab all the sparkl...

I know, it's totally DH's fault that Pudding still jumps up, since that's how they play for 15 minutes everyday :? If I say anything then I'm "evil wet blanket mommy" Oh well, I say my two cents and then that's it. I am glad that Pudding has someone to play with! Mia, I wou...

Pudding, the big cheater!

So DH and Pudding were playing last night (the usual too much rough-housing and chasing etc) when they started running around the sofa. http://i227.photobucket.com/albums/dd280/puddingloveaustin/th_Pudding_Chase.jpg Oh, and Pudding is not allowed on the furniture unless her special blanket is on the...

Awww... it's so cute when do something like that. Butter was such a good boy. Pudding will stay in the house even if the door is open when we say "stay", provided there isn't a person/animal that she can see on the street. When that happens, all bets are off!

I'll be calling more butchers, co-ops and game processing places today. My main concerns are hormones and anti-biotics in the meat products.

Thanks for all your encouragement and info!! I'm going to start easing Pudding and myself :P into the raw diet, as we find better sources.

Drove 5 hours home with Pudding when we got her from the rescue, and she slept on my lap (dh was driving) all the way home. Yes yes, ALWAYS check out meds and side effects before taking or giving any!!! I'm not a fan of most MDs... worked with some bad apples before, most who think they're GODS. :wall: Totally not trying to make a blanket statement about all doctors out there, but advocating being educated consumers!
