In memory: China went over the Rainbow Bridge this morning
I am just beside myself right now....the tears won't stop flowing. As you all know, China has been dealing with exacerbated arthritis in all 4 legs. She has been taking Metacam and Tramadol but still unable to walk very far. She developed an infection in her eye a couple of days ago and for the past...

I have heard of that. China is doing a little better actually. She is tolerating the Metacam and the vet added Tramadol. She has been able to go outside to potty and she actually walked all the way around the block the other day....her choice.....she was in control. I am currently looking at moving ...

Well, she did not have a break. She has more arthritis. The vet gave her tramadol to take along with Metacam. She laid all night without moving, wouldn't get up this morning to go potty and when I tried to pick her up to take her out she bared teeth at me and growled. I cannot continue to put her th...

Hello all. We are on our way to the vet again. China is unable to walk on her left leg....she may have injured it walking...she tripped over her right leg and fell. Say some prayers....I am an emotional wreck.

Hello everyone. Thank you for all of the good advice. China appears to be handling the Metacam for now; however, the limping is still a problem. She is able to control her bowels and urine. It is the vomiting that worries me. I feed her intermittently boiled rice and chicken. She got a few bits of s...

HELP - IS IT TIME TO SEND HER TO HEAVEN??
China is my 12 year old chowling. She is not doing well and I am very torn as to what is the best thing for her. She has been vomiting infrequently for the past 7 or 8 months. Not a problem, I have attributed it to her food being too rich for her aging tummy. She began limping on her right leg about...

My china is 12 years old and still running around like a baby....loves to walk and loves to bark. My Bear died when she was 8 going on 9 - not sure what happened to her; however, they believe she developed a rapid onset of Cushing's - one day she was sick and the next day she died at the vets office...

A special puppy in great need
I realize this little guy is not a chow chow; however, he is being sponsored by a chow chow rescue. His story is very, very sad. <iframe src="http://www.firstgiving.com/rss/getfundraisingPage2.asp?EventGivingGroupId=236375" width="195px" height="325px" frameborder="...
