Couple Hires Helicopter, Private Detectives To Search For Lost Dog

BALTIMORE, MD - The helicopter buzzing White Marsh, Maryland on Tuesday wasn't looking for a criminal. It was hired to help find a missing dog. Rhonda Fish is desperate to find her 2-year-old Yorkshire terrier named Reilly.

The dog vanished Monday night from the Marriott Residence Inn, where Fish and her fiancé Brian Davis have been living since their Towson home was flooded in a water heater explosion. Fish and Davis hired a private detective, and a helicopter and consulted a psychic to assist the search.

Private detective Bill Cotton says he's combing the area for leads.

"We've called everybody that we knew in the area, other private investigative companies that are out on the road now. My son and daughter-in-law are Baltimore County police officers, we asked them to be on the lookout for him. And, we've just been networking with all the businesses in the area, stopping and talking to them."

Davis and Fish are also considering raising the reward.

"If someone were to know of the fact that Reilly is somewhere and somebody didn't want to turn him in, we'd be willing to go ahead and not only give the person that had the dog the reward, but also match that to the person that was able to locate it. So instead of 2-thousand it would be 4-thousand dollars," said Brian Davis.

Fish and Davis, meanwhile, have been evicted by the hotel because of the disturbance caused by the search
