Even though it's been 2 weeks I can't help but check in with the forum. The grief and sadness is as expected. The range of emotions and thoughts are as many of you have experienced.
As difficult as it was I truly believe we did the right thing for her. Yet, the decision is something an owner has to make based on what he/she sees and feels. Quality of life is difficult to determine without a doubt.
I know this subject has been difficult for many to read. I only hope it is helpful to others as it has been for me. It can be the most difficult yet loving thing to do.
