IliamnasQuest,
Thank you for posting that poem.
Reading through it, brought tears to my eyes as I sat here reading it.
It's so true though.
Well, at least we took into our home our new Chowling "Gandalf", from Redcloud (Zola Coogan) during Mothers Day weekend. We had to bring Boosha for the long car ride to meet the new puppy on neutral ground.
Although he helps, it's not the same with my little wiggley butt girl not here anymore. It's still difficult to believe she's gone. I miss her so much.
I put her crate in the attic the other day. That was tuff. Then, I had to throw out her old beds, food storage and all medications. That broke my heart even more.
Regards,
Jim and Ellie

OHHHH!! You have a Redcloud puppy!! My Khana is primarily Redcloud lines - her father is Redcloud Bagua of Tienshan. I'd be willing to bet that your new pup is related to Khana!Deanski wrote:IliamnasQuest,

I think you will be very happy to have a Redcloud chow. I know it doesn't stop the pain, but having a puppy certainly keeps you busy .. and you know that Boosha would rather you rejoice in the love of those with you than to grieve over her passing. She was one of those fortunate ones - living a full life with people who loved her.
We'll have to start another thread so that we can hear more about your pup. I will be curious to see how Khana is related and what similarities they have.
