Well I am sure that if you had been closer and recieved the news she was still available and that person hadn't killed her YET that you'd have done anything. When I tell you all that this puppy is a sweetheart I mean she is a real sweetheart. No talkin bad about my Ember Flame now, but when I let them "meet." The only one who made any kind of grumbling was my Ember. And then she settled down, and they did give kisses. So far from Vicki has said, the puppy and Kearra have been playing and giving kisses. I am just SO happy... I am so very happy...I don't care if I was a part or not, I am just so happy that this baby, this little baby, is safe. To think she had actually been drivin to be KILLED once is just unbelievable... she was MEANT to be with Vicki, and I am so glad she is there now. And if we had more money, if I had more time, I would do even more, but we are limited. I can say, like the rest of you, I will do what I can, when I can. I appreciate the thank you's but its not neccessary. oh so cliche.. .the "thank you" was when I got the puppy in my arms in the car, and got her taken care of like she SHOULD HAVE BEEN. KitCat... Again.. I thank YOU for posting and the delaware rescue...And everyone who tried to find out if this baby was still there. (another long email from me.. LOL.. sorry)bama wrote:Where O where are the photos of this Blue Baby Girl???
Carla, you are awesome! First, you take the time to track down this furball, then you drive 6 hours to pick her up, and as if that isn't enough, you take her immediately to the vet, you groom her, vacinate her, and pack her up for shipping, ultimately send her on her way to her new mommy!!

YES! I was on the phone off and on...It was a pretty smoothe transaction, I think the worst part was getting into the crate, as i ziptied it just before they took her. I told her they'd need to cut the tie to get her out. So that was probably the worst... There will be a lot of pictures though, I told her I expected loads since she had so much time LOL... be looking for an album!cheriekynb wrote:This is such exciting news! YAY!! I can't wait to see pics.. I wonder if Vicki had a better experience GETTING the puppy at the airport then Carla did SENDING.. ???
Ok.. I am about to post a photo page and its going to be a bit large... sorry folks with dial up...

Oh Carla!!!! I LOVE her little fairy tale that you wrote!
I have complete faith that Vicster is going to make sure that she knows JUST HOW WANTED AND SPECIAL she is for the rest of her precious little life!
If there ever was a soul that WAS meant to be, it is her!

ME TOO! she is about the prettiest self red puppy girl I have ever seen, you add in her personality and OMG... she's a package alright. She rules the roost. She even has Belle by the elbow! LOL... Thanks for the comps on my baby girl.. I love them ALL!
I hope Vicki is ok... its been a long time since her power went out.. I'll call her in a bit.
That is the absolute sweetest little blue chowgirl - look at those feet!!
Regarding that e-mail from the lady, I went back and forth from wanting to roll on the floor laughing to being mortified that anybody that would write or say things like that was breeding chows. Personally, I think she's a nutcase.
But the important thing was getting the pup, and that's the main thing. You guys did great.
We can't change the world, like we were saying on other posts, but we've changed the world for quite a few chows - one chow at a time. We can't forget that. Everybody involved in this did a fantastic job.
Good thing we're all as stubborn as our chows when it comes to things we believe in!

I am SOOO SORRY it has taken so long for me to get here today....... EVERYTHING is going GREAT!!!The puppy is sooooo CUTE!!! I LOVE HER!!!She is going to sleep good tonight, and is nappin' on the the tile in the kitchen right now. She hasn't missed a beat.....she had 3 BM's today and so far no accidents in the house. She has deffinitely been SOCIALIZED today
She has had fun running and playing with the kids and has done better than I thought she would with Kearra and Lily. Poor Lily has someone else to bite on her legs But now Kearra has someone small enough to go between her legs Nobody has had any issues......cross your fingers for us....
Had to take her to the Vet, she wouldn't give me her eye oinment without seeing her so she got passed around and OOOOO"D and AWWWWW'D over at the Vet. $49 later we made it back home. She really is ADORABLE and very UNIQUE!!!
ok so here are some pics....
