Blue tounge

How blue/black is the Chow's toung supposed to be?
My Chow has more red/blue toung..
He is only 6 months, will his toung get more blue as he age?

(Did I write the word Toung right? :oops: )
Or is it Tounge? :oops:

Hello Taz,

I think his tongue will get more blue as he gets a bit older and don't worry how you spell tongue - we know what you mean. :)

Our Bear's tongue was dark blue at birth and her gums were also black. Mai Tai on the other hand has a lighter blue tongue and pink gums. I wonder if the reason is that Bear was black and Mai Tai is blonde/cream? :?
