Play bow

Post by kingalls »

I was only able to get a couple of snaps of Mr. N's play bow this morning...I'm thinking about getting a better digital camera to get a video of him doing his play bow. My current one takes too long to open, focus, and shoot - by the time it happens the play bow is done! His play bow usually consists of him burying his head between his front paws and shifts his head from one side to the other...

How cute! It looks like he's rubbing his face with his paw? You could put that on cue and have him do it with a "what stinks??" kind of cue .. *grin* (that's Trick's cue to cover her nose).

Solo does this, and then follows it up with standing on his back legs and walking on them. I tried to get a shot of it yesterday to post but he is too close and like you said it takes too much time to set up the shot before its over. Very cute though :D

I'll get some of his new pics posted today.....

Oh, Mr. N's play bow is beautiful! Sophie never does it, unless it's incorporated into a zoom. He's a gorgeous boy.

That's so cute! Lily likes to bow in front of me , and her front paws take little baby steps toward me, like a semi-stretch. I have taken to shuffling back toward her with the same baby steps til our 'toes' touch. She thinks it's big fun. Nanuk looks like he enjoys it, too!

WHAT A CUTIE! - Now, how do I teach Charlie to do this on command? He does it automatically as his morning stretch and it's adorable, but I can't get him to "Take a bow".

Mr. N is sooo cute, I love his play bow! That is so cute that he moves his face side to side like that! Special loves play bows, he doesn't move his face side to side like that but he loves play bowing to insects! :D
