I wanted to share some pictures of Miah Pearl. Her rescue anniversary is tomorrow. I must confess I wasn't looking to rescue a chow. (I was looking for a small, non shedding, lap dog.

All of the pictures are wonderful, but I really like the second one best. I LOVE that expression: "Huh, what's that?!"

She is beautiful. There are some great creatures out there to be rescued. And to think, you could have ended up with a yappy yorkie yutzz if she hadn't intervened.

Hmmmmm...that picture of Miah sleepin' looks like a possible lap posture. Miah could be tellin' ya somethin'- you may be able to give it a try.

Happy Anniversary Miah!! I love the sleeping chow picture! Chows are hardly lap dogs, but shedding happens only twice a year, tho in a major way. I think you made a wise decision. She looks happy & handsome.

As far as lapdogs and Chows -- you never know!

Every Chow is different and I had a German Shorthaired Pointer who was a total lapdog. My friend's 100 pound Rottweiler would have been a lapdog if she could have found a big enough lap. (She did teach me that when a Rottie wants to be petted, you better get comfortable and do some petting, because she is not going to give up any time soon.)

As for lap dogs, Brandon still tries to sit in my lap. Doesn't fit, but he tries!
