Wet coat

Hello,
My Chow is an avid drinker. He drinks every 10 minutes which is great. I've been having problems with maintaining his coat around the chest area as it is wet all the time. I dry it up with a towel but somehow it's always wet. It really is kinda gross and I'm concerned about the health of his coat. Do you think drooling bibs would help? Anybody has any suggestion? Thanks.

Hi
Not sure about the bibs. In Summer here in Australia it gets very humid and with his chest constantly wet from drinking and a bit of drool, Hugo has had an irritation there so I now in Summer only trim it down which helps.
Good luck.

Switching to a No Spill water bowl could help alot. It's very inexpensive.

Where can I get the non-spill water bowl? I am from the states. Thank you.

Most pet stores carry them. If you can't find it at the store, ask the manager to order you one. Or, you can buy it online if you don't mind paying the shipping cost. The bowl itself is fairly inexpensive (around $5-6). I got Tiggy's from PetClub. I know our local PetsMart, Pet Food Express and PetCo carry them too.
