My 13 month-old chow is shedding a lot, how normal is this? I'm getting worried. Please give me advice, thanks

Hello there!!! My 13 month old chow is shedding too much, I don't know how much is normal, please advise me with more info and what should we do.

When losing their undercoat (couple of times per year), they shed several dogs worth of fur but remain covered in their rough outercoat. No worries unless actually going bald.

Exactly what I was gonna say. In the almost 11 years I had Tippsy, her coat got quite thin but she never went bald.
