Hi, Chow people! We moved recently and everything has been crazy, so I have been off the board. Be assured Jasper loves his new country home. After a bout with speargrass requiring emergency surgery and a Lion Clip, he was fine. He just celebrated his 11th birthday.

If you live in Florida, unless you are in one of the grandfathered cities, Breed-specific legislation (BSL) is illegal. That is your town cannot ban or restrict Chow Chows or any other breeds. However, a bill has been introduced that if passed will allow local BSL in the state of Florida. Chow chows often make the list, requiring special insurance, muzzles, or even being banned completely.
