Ok.. so now I can post what has happened. and vicki can tell you too. The puppy was pegged as "mean" as it had bitten the "breeders" (cringe) daughter who got in the way of the puppies (10 weeks old) while they were playing. Puppies play rough. Nothing unusual there. So because the puppy "bit" her daughter some people said she had to put it sleep, then you factor in the entropian, and the fact that she would have had to spend money (like the money she made on the other 4 puppies) on getting the eyes fixed on this poor girl, and it well.. it wasn't worth it to her. So this where we all come in. Oh yes, first.. the puppy had only had ONE deworming and NO shots at all. Not one (until 5 minutes after she came through my doors. I gave her a Canine spectra 8 and took her straight to the vets, I had Vicki on the phone with me the entire time.. (I don't want to see my cellphone bill!

) eegads. So jumping back a bit... I had emailed the "breeder" (cringe) about the puppy at the same time as the rest of you. I was nice.. as my vet says, you catch more flies with honey, and she emailed me back, twice. She had BEEN SPANKING THE PUPPY FOR PLAYING!!!!! I have the emails. OMG!! I cried when I read it, but I did stay calm...I called her and she indeed told me the puppy was there. I called my mom who was in DC at a seminar, bless her heart she had had the worst weekend and was in tears and just couldnt mentally make the trip. That wasn't going to stop me. I asked her to hold off putting her to sleep and give me till monday. She said ok.. and then turned on the "oh how much she cared" thing...Maybe a part of her did. I want to think so. She was quite relieved when i said I would take her on like as though I had bred her and put her out on a contract and ensure that her life be the best and she never go to a kill shelter. And that is exactly what I am doing. Vicki has the contract, and she can tell you about it if she wants to. So anyways.. because of that she let me take the puppy and will give Vicki the papers as soon as she gives her the info that the eyes have been fixed.
She is so pretty and so sweet. her coat is dull, and skin is dry, a sign of poor food and she needs a good bath. I will get her groomed up tomorrow. Now we are just working on getting her down to Louisiana. I sent vicki pictures I wish I knew how to post them on here! but I want vicki to post them so it wont steal her thunder! Her baby is GORGEOUS! I am so honored to be babysitting.

Ok.. I hate to go there, but she was like 5'10" and 300+lbs... so my desire to slap her after getting the puppy, was quickly turned into fear... my husband was a bit scared too. He actually got her license plate. Oh yes.. I didnt leave without first getting a hand written contract from her on the spot that I had permission to have the puppy. So I can't imagine how "firm" as she put it these spankings were as she was a big girl, and this is a little puppy... makes me so sad... Everyone at my vets office just LOVED this baby...She is wagging her tail constantly and LOVES kids. My kids are really enjoying spoiling this girl and they know she is not staying, but they want her to know love. I have some special children. I am really blessed. One of my furkids Belle has greeted Epsilon through the crate, (my crates are in my dining room)

no growling or aggression. She's a lovely little girl. COME ON VICKI!! send the pictures!!!

Carla didn't tell you she drove 6 hrs today with her husband and children, one of which got car sick....... and took this lil baby to the Vet after she got home!!! She has gone ABOVE AND BEYOND for this lil one

Then as I am trying to figure out how I'm going to get this baby HOME to Louisiana from Virginia......she calls me in tears telling me her WONDERFUL MOM is going to pay for her flight HOME because she wants to help!!!

AMAZING FAMILY!!!! WE ARE FOREVER IN THEIR DEBT!!!!ANGELS THis beautiful baby's ANGELS!!!!

SAY HELLO!!!! I only know how to do this one at a time so.......THe PROUD MOMMY and HER ANGELS have a few to show you!!!

She is so adorable! I am so happy she gets a happy ending. That "breeder" (using the term loosely) should not be allowed to even own dogs, let alone breed them. I am sure she will have a wonderful life now, she deserves it.
