Ohio Chow girl needs rescue...
Hi all,
I just visited on the phone with, "Bob" who has listed his son's chow in our Chows for Adoption section of this website.
Bob is currently in the hospital with a leg injury and can no longer care for this chow girl.
Back story:
This chow girl was adopted by Bob's son 2 years ago, she was 6 years old. According to Bob, his son has done a poor job caring for this chow girl. Currently, she is tethered on a line. She has lived outside for the last 2 years and not much socialization to speak of. Prior to that, she was with a previous owner, who claims she is part wolf, but Bob's vet says no, she is purebred chow. Bob feels the previous owner kept her inside the house.
Basically, Bob is taking the chow girl from his 17 year old son and looking for a better home for her.
Bob says she's very territorial and not socialized to children or cats. This girl really needs a home with a chow savvy person.
Please help circulate this info....
