Its been a while

Hi all, its been a long while since I last posted. I've been busy on the lab chat board and justlabradors.

As you can see I don't have a Chow Chow yet, I've been thinking if I could actually get one when I move. But, I'm still not sure what breeds are banned in the condo complex where I plan on moving.

I'm still doing my research before I make my final decision. Haven't found a breeder that I truly like or that has occasional cream chow chows.

I just thought to reconnect to this board since its been a while.

What I wanted to know though, what type of brush and comb do you all use for grooming? I was thinking if I decide to get the chow to take him to the groomers every two or three weeks, but to have something like waterless shampoo and powder to use to help keep the coat up to good condition.

I may end up doing some type events like obedience and test him for therapy work when he's older. What do you all think?

I need to save and get some books on chow chows and on grooming.
