Coda's Week

Post by CodasMum »

Well, Coda has been here a week now and is settling in great. I can already tell he has grown since we've brought him home!! He is doing extremely well at poddy training and has only had a couple of accidents in the house - but those weren't really his fault - we just weren't quick enough. He loves his car rides - and he's had several in the past few days. How his tail wags with delight when he gets in, he watches out the window for a bit and then settles down for a nap. He has finally mastered going up and down our long flight of stairs and it is so cute hearing his thump, thump, thump and he comes up the stairs to find us. He had his first bath, which he definately did not like but he survived to tell about it, barely. We've had alot of snow here and he's had so much fun running around the backyard. It is so deep now that he can't run, he has to bound to get through it. He loves playing hide and seek and even likes to take his turn hiding. Yesterday he discovered that when he barks in the living room he can make an echo. That was alot of fun as he sat and barked and then cocked his head to listen to the different sounds. He is definately a bundle of energy - full go, full stop - and wouldn't trade him in for the world. :D
