Hello My Chow family and their servants....
thank you so very much for the birthday wishes. MY servant gave me hugs and kisses and told me Happy Birthday, but the celebration itself will have to wait until the weekend. That little itty bitty servant thing they brought home a little over 3 weeks ago has been sick. Life sure has changed since he showed up. But he's OK I guess. I think they call him Ryan. Anyway... MY servant is making Italian Beef tomorrow and has already told me that I will definitly be having some of that (minus some of the spices) as my birthday meal. So that didn't sound too bad. Mom said Molly got to have some too to celebrate with me. Little sisters and little servants... what's a king to do? But thank you all for all of the birthday wishes!!!!

This is King Koda...
again, thank you one and all for all of the birthday wishes. Yesterday was my day to celebrate and my servants family was here. They all gave me love and pats on the head and told me Happy Birthday. I did get my birthday helping of Italian Beef while my servant was shredding the roasts and before she added more spices to it. It sure was good. I told my servant I would like that kind of food every day, but I think she ignored that idea. The little 20 month old servant was here too... and I like it when she is here. She is always calling me and I really like it when she has food because she drops it and I eat what she drops. Molly had fun too.... my servant gave her special birthday food too. She didn't chew on me too much... in fact the hair is starting to grow back on my legs.
Well time to go rule my kingdom... again, thank you!!!

Ryan's sure had a rough week. First of all the doc has decided he is lactose intolerant, which meant a formula change. He seems to be doing better on that end (literally). But he is really having a lot of trouble with his sinues. We don't know if it's the weather change, a little bit of a cold, or what is going on. When all of the kids were here this weekend, someone suggested maybe he was having an allergic reaction to the dogs and/or the cats. I hadn't thought of that since the only one who has any trouble being around animals and allergies is me... and that's with the cats. It kind of seems to me that if it were allergy problems, they would have started before last week. I guess we will just wait it out and see. Next weekend I will clean carpets and see if that doesn't help him. I know I couldn't ask for 2 better chows around Ryan than King Koda and Princess Molly are. He's just a part of their family. Our little Ryan is really growing... lactose intolerance and all... he was 7lbs. 12 ozs when he was born. He will be 4 weeks old Tuesday and he weighed 9 lbs., 8 ozs. at the doctor Friday. The doc said he is trying to gain weight to catch up with his height. LOL

Lactose intolerance is linked with sinusitis because of the build-up of mucous it causes. Give Ryan and Amber our (((love))), and tell him we hope he feels all better real soon!

Hummm... I didn't know that, but it makes sense... at least to me who suffers terribly with the sinus thing. Hopefully changing to soy formula will help all the way around.
