Milky teeth coming out!

Milky teeth coming out!
Hello their! Our female chow who's 4 and a half months old lost one of her canine teeth yesterday and we found it in her tail for some strange reason. I was wondering is it normal for a 4 and a half month old puppy to start loosing her milky/puppy teeth at this age??

Re: Milky teeth coming out!
Her baby teeth are coming out. Yes, it is perfectly normal at her age.
When my cream chow, Zhuyo, was a chowling. He would go to puppy kindergarten class and I'd find varied puppy teeth stuck on his fur when we came home after class (puppy teeth from his classmates).

Oh thanks for your reply I'm so glad now that you have said it's normal for this age for puppies around 4 and a half months to start loosing their teeth! I thought it was abit too early for her to start losing her teeth and that they start losing their milky teeth around 6-8months.
What a funny cute story you told me zhuyos mom, that made me laugh! We are also taking our chow girl to a 6 week puppy course. Once a week (every Monday nights) She's even very good at training their and made some new friends puppy classes are a very good way of socialisation at such a young age. We only have 2 more puppy classes left until she finishes her course. We think we have given her the best start in life and she's a very good girl (despite being naughty sometimes but all puppies are) haha, thanks for your message
