Back bump
hi all!
I'm a new parent to a 6 month old chow chow Sheba. Today after a long car ride (she did get throw up too:( - poor puppy), we noticed that her back has a huge lump. It feels like her bone is higher one one side and lower on the other side. Someone told me it might be a reaction to her vaccines 4 days ago. But I find it really weird. Should I take her to the vet or monitor it for a day or two? Sheba doesn't experience any visible pain with it if you touch her. She was running and jumping in the snow before and after I noticed the bump.
thanks everyone.

Re: Back bump
It could be a reaction, although it shouldn't be so large, (if I understand you correctly it sounds large) It could be an abcess from the shot, or from an insect bite or getting a burr under the skin. I'd take her in to have it checked. Better safe than sorry.

Thanks Victory! I noticed today it seems smaller but you're right, better to be safer than sorry!
