Respectful Girls
Just thought you might like to see this sequence of photos. Rhiannon, Isabelle and little Bertie came up for a week at Easter and Rhiannon took a lot of pictures. Because the weather was so beautiful, we fed the girls and Bertie outside and these pictures show Maisie and Matilda waiting for Mabel to finish her dinner so that they could wash up. Mabel always takes longer to eat than they do but they have learnt not to push in until she has finished.

Wonderful pictures Judy. M&M Jr, are very lovely. Isn't it lovely the way the younger ones respect and care for the older one?

Re: Respectful Girls
That is so true Victory. It never fails to move me - they talk to her and wash her eyes.
As I think I have said before, when I am dishing out their dinner I will tell them to go and tell Mabel to come for dinner and they will go and find her and grunt and harrumph at her and she will get up and bumble along with them. It fair brings a lump to my throat it really does.
Mabel grieved for a very long time for Milly then all of a sudden, one morning, she came out of our bedroom after a little lie - in with a twinkle in her eye and she now enjoys her life with Matilda and Maisie. She sits and watches them play and sometimes has a little play herself. When she has a quiet walk round the garden they will walk slowly with her - it is so sweet.

Every picture just warmed my heart! Beautiful best friends.

They have been brought up properly and have respect for their teacher, Mabel. I love all the pictures.

Absolutely beautiful to see this type of respect. I swear you should make a film on this group of companions you always seem to capture such great pictures with expression , respect and love in your pictures.. What a lovely family of humans and animals. (even toads)..

Judy...what an absolutely beautiful group they are.
It's amazing how they show respect and love for each other. My Cheyenne will hover over her very old brother JR until he has finished his dinner but never intrudes until he's done and she can "clean up!"
And JR will always lick Cheyenne's face when they come in from their nightly walk.

That is lovely Sharon. I think it is lovely when they show their love and respect for each other. Even little Bertie is respectful of Mabel when he comes up to stay. He will wash her face and will lie and snuggle up to her.

Thank you David.
Mabel is an old girl now but she is enjoying the company of the junior M's. It is lovely to see them all getting on together.
