arthritis

Post by phyllisa »

How can I help with my dogs arthritis? I have a Yorkie/mix terrier who is 10 years old. He has started to suffer arthritis in one back leg. Is their anything in herbs, food, doggy vits to help him? and do you have any advice on how to deal with arthritis.

There is many holistic and non steroid based treatments available.

Ready to go treatments such as synflex or flexwize.

or any dog specific non prescription based medication a google search should help you out with products available through online stores as products in the UK may differ to products in another country so listing them may not help you.

Herbal tablets such as... sulphur, devils claw (anti inflammatory), omega 3 oils, glucosamine and chondroitin are all useful in joint support.

Leela has arthritis in her hips, and we give her a shot of adequan once a month. It really helps, plus she is on Glycoflex III.
