Louie went in the kids playroom and stole my daughters Star wars light saber (she got it as a party favor a few months ago). He was so excited, he wagged his tail so hard, it was the cutest thing so I let him have it.

First he stole it........



Then he brought it back to his bed........



Then he unwrapped the plastic.........



Then he took it back to playroom to show off his work! He was very proud of himself.

Get used to it. Max is the same way, he loves grabbing things of ours and best of all? When you chase him, he thinks that's the greatest. It seems to be a male Chow thing, although all male Chows don't do this. I had another male Chow and he woulld never steal anything. I have a female Chow too and she does not do this. But, I'm warning you, if he's anything like Max, he will always do it. Max will be 3 in March, 2010. Even today, he grabbed my wife's remote from her TV and ran around the yard with it, begging us to chase him. The first time I saw this characteristic is when I came home from work and he was only 5 months old and he was staring at me through the doorwall with a feather duster he had pulled off our desk. He held it HIGH like it was his prize and snorted and pranced around with it. Too funny.

Louie doesn't steal much of our things he just LOVES toys! I have never seen anything like it (from a chow anyway). He shakes his tail and his butt and he goes down on his front paws and dances around it and rolls on his back. It looks like it makes him so happy. He has a very large basket of toys and he diggs in it and finds what he is looking for and acts like its the greatest thing on earth even though it has been played with and chewed on many times. Thats why when he got the light saber, I let him have it because he looked so happy, I did not have the heart to take it away. Mailie on the other hand is a typical snobby chow. If you give her a toy she will look at it, sniff it then stick her nose in the air and walk away. Then when you are not looking and SHE decides, she will run around and play with it and have a great time. But it has to be her decision. She is very cute too, the other day Louie was playing with a toy and he got up and went outside to potty and she ran over, grabbed his toy and ran to the kids playroom and dropped it in there and left it like she was hiding it from him. They are too funny. I can watch and play with them all day!

out of my 3 taishi is the player she loves to play fetch!! the other 2 well lets just say its not of interest lol
