How many poops a day?

Hi all,

I have been taking Kuma on two 20 minute walks a day. Once around 9 AM and again at around 9 PM. She goes poo morning and night, but it takes a while...about 10-15 minutes into the walk. How many times do your Chows poo a day? I'm wondering if twice is unnecessary, since she is taking so long during each walk. Any feedback is appreciated.

Molly goes about once a day. Twice sounds fine. Molly has to sniff very carefully before she goes, so it takes a little longer.

Henry will poop everytime I take him for a walk but not necessarily when my daughter or husband take him, he will also poop in the garden too. Sometimes Henry will give upto three little packages on a 30 minute walk.

Mine eat twice a day and poop twice a day - sometimes more if they find just the right spot.

My bear will usually poo once a day Bo twice. When it comes to the pee? well I think they hold about twenty or thirty gallons

Mookie's record for pooping in a 30 minute walk has been 5-times. 3 of which have been fairly large piles. 2 are smaller.

I think it depends on what you are feeding your chow. Mookie is on a bit of a diet, so his kibbles generally have a little more fiber which makes him poop more often.

On average though I would say Mookie poops about 3-times a day. Maybe once in the morning, and 2-3 times during his late afternoon walk!

Wow! Thank you for all of your replies! I guess twice a day is fine then. Mookie's record is 5 times in one 30-minute walk?? Hahahaha! He must have been super hungry after!
