I didn't have a computer for a few days so sorry in my delayed response but I did want to thank you all for your kind words then and now, and your continued support and help. We all just adore McKenzie. She came with us to visit family for the holidays and we even took her to the christmas eve party where there were 4 other dogs. Everyone there loved her to death and she got along pretty well with the other dogs (all were females). Two came up to her and growled so she growled back and when they got in her face, she showed her teeth. They stood away after that, the other 2 smelled her and she smelled them back and then they all retreated to different areas of the house although McKenzie wasn't quite sure what was going on so she followed me around everywhere which of course I didn't mind so I could keep my eye on her. Everyone kept telling me how pretty and well behaved she was; I was so proud of her

PS: Yes, she does LOVE to be brushed; she also really enjoys her chest being rubbed (more so than anywhere else). Once she lets people get close enough, if they pet her there, she puts her chin up and her ears back, it's very cute.
