OMG, Scarlet!
Scarlet has been with me almost 2 years now and I never noticed until just now that she .....SNORES! I mean really loudly, the walls are starting to shake. I can't beieve I never heard her before or maybe I just assumed it was one of my older guys. She cracks me up, she is such a delicate little priss and she is snoring like a lumberjack, lol. Does anyone else have a chow that does this?

Tippsy does that. When it gets too bad I just say her name and it stops... for a little while anyways. It is funny.

Shao also snores, he is loud enough to wake the dead! It's so funny but can also get a bit annoying at times. Thank goodness he doesn't sleep in my room at night
Thank you Sweetpea!!

Re: OMG, Scarlet!
Milly and Mabel both snore - loudly - in unison - in harmony - also in a wonderful range of sounds and pitches!
When Milly came to live with us at exactly six weeks of age, we made up a little bed for her in a box and took her into our bedroom. We felt she was too young to be left on her own in the kitchen, or wherever. Well, we all settled down to sleep. Fred dropped off to sleep and Milly went to sleep but I did not! Her snoring was incredible for one so small and so young - I just could not believe it.
This went on for six weeks and I had six weeks of no sleep at all to disturbed sleep and was just on the verge of having to put her in the kitchen for my health's sake when I woke up one morning to find that I had in fact slept well that night. I had got used to her. When Mabel came to live with us three months later when she and Milly were just six months old, she came to sleep in our bedroom with her sister and they have been there ever since. They turned 8 last September!
They both snore their beautiful little heads off and I drop off to sleep with the sound of their snores which do not bother me now.

Chloe snores very loudly and gets booted from the bedroom nightly...all i have to say is her name and she harumphs and wanders out. She then goes in the LR and continues and I can still hear her! I have threatened to boot both her and hubby downstairs so me and Shuggy can get some sleep!!

Yoshi snores too, Maxwell doesn't I think perhaps it is the purebreed snout. Maxwell has more of a retrievers snout.

Re: OMG, Scarlet!
Both of my girls snore....Kearra only from time to time but Kyra rattles the walls.....sometimes if she is asleep in the family room I can't hear the tv because of her. Between them and the dh I can't sleep anymore in a quiet room...keeps me up at night. Like music to my ears
Thanks Sweetpea!
Re: OMG, Scarlet!
Lychee snores and whistles and makes whimpering noises
Re: OMG, Scarlet!
Henry snores, I used to have to tell my husband it's not me it's Henry. Henry has also started slurping, which really irritates my husband, but I sleep right though it all. I don't sleep so well if he's not around, you know if we're in a hotel without him.
Thank you Sweatpea

Exactly how I feel. Strangely enough, I almost find it calming now because I'm just so used to it.

......absolutely - I know "God is in His Heaven and all is well" when I settle down to sleep and I hear the girls snoring. Funny though that Milly's snoring when she was a tiny chowling disturbed me so much. Now I snug down and listen to them and I am so glad they are mine.

Re: OMG, Scarlet!
Ming doesn't snore at all, he's my perfect baby boy. However, Tempest snores and snorts her way through the night. Which, of course, follows the morning snores and the afternoon snores...
I swear that she is so loud at times that pictures rattle on the walls!!!!! She's such a dainty looking little thing and to think that she could easily outsnore a bunkhouse full of exhausted lumberjacks...
Fortunately, we've got one of those white-noise machines and I just turn it up a little louder...
