Question: Happy Shiver?

Question: Happy Shiver?
Hi, I have a question from Linda, the fabulous lady who adopted lovely Lakota, now known as Brandibear. Both BB and Kubbi (her other chowkid) have a tendency to tremble with happiness or excitement from time to time. Has anyone else experienced this phenomenon? I have to say no, but Sophie has never exactly been the standard of "chownormal". Anyone?

My Bear does not do this but my Bulldog does. Bear cries when he is happy.
Awesome banner compliments of Sweetpea, Thank you!

Yeh, Sophie does the tsunami wave/haw haw dance combo. I knew a shi-tzu that would wriggle and chatter his teeth when happy, not quite what I'd call trembling with joy, tho. Well, the shiver may not be particular to chows, then.

Quoncha shivers when she gets excited and will bow down at times as well when she is shivering.

Nope no shivers here, just full body wags and Kyra beeps with joy when she really gets excited Kearra mostly does the shake your pom-pom when she gets excited and then bends inhalf and leans on your legs....but no shivers

Tempest will pretty much shake all over when she's really happy, but it's probably more of a full body wag. Then, she'll hop straight up in the air and pivot while in mid-air. Really, it's very similar to a ballet move and she's actually quite graceful when she's doing it. But, there again, she is a Diva...

That sounds more like it. Maybe BB is an Aussie chow.ChowLady wrote:Quoncha shivers when she gets excited and will bow down at times as well when she is shivering.

Firesong does the same thing, she always has, I love to watch her do the leap and twirl thing.

Shiloh is a bouncing, mid-air wiggly, twirling girl when she's happy. Mr. N is a total bootie wag, then play bow kinda boy.
