Furminator

Post by welshigirl »

I am thinking of buying a furminator for my two chows,I have heard about other people having fabulous results with their dogs/cats but dont actually know if they are actually good on a chows coat.

Any of you guys used a furminator and if so are they worth the money or am I better sticking to my usual brush and comb?

This thread link has information about the two grooming tools I've recommended for years, and includes a photo link of the long-pin brush. I think those two are the best and reasonably priced.

You can do a search on here for the furminator. There've been a couple posts about it. I think there were mixed results. I had one and didn't like it. I gave it to a friend with a German "Shedder" and she loves it.
