Well, Sophie assures me that the deer problem is a non-issue, and that she is more concerned about the two whopping 12-lb sabre toothed cats in the neighbor's yard than she is about old Bambi, there. She just has her priorities, you know.

I never would have seen Holden again. His mission in life is to rid the neighborhood of all things that move and are not known to him.

Maybe the deer was there and wanted to be chased - but Sophie had other plans. Like, no challenge if I chase something that wanted to be chased. And chased the cats (?) which were really not after the chase instead... (Did I sound coherent enough here?

Actually, that makes perfect sense. And the cats REALLY don't want to be chased, but boy, do they need the exercise.

got the idea from yumi herself - there are quite a lot of cats in the area where we live and she will not chase the one who challenges her, but will chase the one she sees who didn't pay attention to her (with mum/dad come "flying" after her on the leash
)

Any chance he performs the Silly Walk for friends and family, preferably in front of a small, hand-held and unseen video device?
