My chow girl's name is Mikki, pronounced like Mickey, she's four years old, I have had her for about 2 months. My neighbours suggested to change the name. Mikki sounds kinda childish, the first family's kids named her Mikki -- it means tree in japanese. I thought of Michele, but that's too human sounding. Not sure what to do.

If you like Mikki, and she responds to it - Keep It!

We do say it like - "Key-Tah" - does sound oriental - didn't think of that  .

Nikita is Russian for - Victorious People.

Chris - That's the song I've been singing over, and over again since I got her - She's not a monkey - but she's "all so soft and cuddly" - we must all be in our 30's

Thanks all... You can always count on Chris to laugh at even the stuff that isn't funny, No offense Auddymay. Maybe it was worth a smile. Hmmm A Patty melt and fries sounds good, sorry just thinking about something to eat.
