Growth on the tongue is Melanoma. A chest X-Ray will be done next week to see if Cancer had spread to Lungs. A consultation with an oncologist will occur to discuss a vaccine. There is no cure there is only management to extend life a little longer. Chemotherapy does not work well when mucus membrane is involved the Veterinarian said.

Sorry to hear the report on Zoey's biopsy. I hope it has not metastasized.

Zoey had a chest X-Ray which showed no Cancer. The Veterinarian said the lungs are the next likely spot if the Cancer spreads.

I'm very sorry to hear about Zoey's biopsy results. No sign of cancer in her lungs is good news. Have you considered consulting a holistic vet for treatment? Even if you do not have one close you can arrange phone consults with many of them. I have used a holistic vet to treat two of mine with different types of cancer. Both times I did it with phone consults and help from my local vet.
