It's Veterans' Day
Today is “Veterans' Day “ in the United States. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you who have served or are serving in the military. I also want to extend a thank you to the military families.
My dad is a WWII veteran and was a POW. He will turn 91 in December.
God Bless all of you!

My thoughts are with my brother and all veterans today. He fought and gave his life for this country in the Iraqi war.
God bless all veterans.
God bless all veterans.

Re: It's Veterans' Day
It's also "Remembrance Sunday" in the U.K. About a week before everyone wears a red poppy on their lapels to commemorate those who gave their lives in the 1st and II World Wars. The poppy signifies that they all died on the beaches of Dunkirk (thousands of American too) or in the poppy fields of Flanders. At midday on Sunday wreaths are lain at the foot of the Cenotaph at Whitehall in central London. The ceremony is attended by survivors and veterans from the Crimea, Boer and World Wars. I don't care which country they came from, they fought for us ALL! Bless them all and a very big THANKYOU!
