My Birthday

Today is my 70th birthday and it has been quite a day.
At about 9.30 a.m., my daughter Rhiannon who is a teacher telephoned and told me that she was in school teaching a yr. 8 class and they had something to say to me. I then heard her say, "Go on then" and then the all the children shouted "Happy Birthday Mrs. Fox". I called thank you to them and they could hear me as Rhiannon had her mobile phone on loudspeaker. She then told me to have a lovely day and that they had to go. The children all called Good Bye and I answered and they all clapped. It was such fun!
Then this afternoon, my granddaughters Louise and Jessica came to see me with little Connor and Hollie and baby Liam. They had flowers and chocolates and cards. Then Jess took Connor and Hollie into the kitchen and they came back out singing Happy Birthday carrying a cake.
It was in the shape of a catterpillar and had a marzipan face which they told me I could have as it was my birthday!!
Then, Hollie, who has a very sweet tooth came and started to pick the little sweets off the cake and eat them as fast as she could. It was so funny.
So, I had a lovely day.

Happy, Happy Birthday! Loved the picture of you and your granddaughter with the catapillar cake. My grandaughter has a big catapillar stuffed animal that she favors and it has to ride with her when she is in my car.
