Hi All,

What a burden I've become in such a short time !!

I am home for a minute, between trips to the Clevland Clinic.
My wife has a friend/co-worker, who has lost 5 family members, including a husband, to kidney disease and failure.

She volunteered to donate one of her kidneys, to help assure a long healthy life for her friend's son.

Surgery was yesterday, (momday), morning. The procedure went well, but she is in TREMENDOUS pain.
Her recipient is doing GREAT, and the kidney is already FULLY operational.

We still have a ways to go yet, so any and all prayers are greatly appreciated!!

I am going to take my laptop back up with me, cuz I think I have an internet connection in the room. So maybe I can get back to posting.

Gosh, what a gift! I am not sure I could do that - for one of my children or grandchildren yes, my sisters yes but......
............and you are not a burden.

I will say a prayer.

Told my wife, before surgery, that she was in a " no lose " situation.

The next time that she opened her eyes, she would either see my smiling face, or Bear running across Rainbow Bridge !!

Don't worry, I'm sure Bear is watching her so you can get a little rest and smile bright for your wife.

Try & stay positive. I truely believe the ones who proceed us are always watching out for us. Your in our thoughts & prayers. Keep us posted on how she is doing.
