Any suggestions, guys?

Post by nnguyentang »

New to raising a chow, I've read up almost all tips on training, health, and diet for my new baby on this site, is there a book anyone would recommend that would help me more through this process?

I would not recommend beauchamp's New owners guide to chowchows.
It just detailed there breed standards, and Breed history and temperament and a smattering of some health problems like heartworm. Not much information to go by to.
I want a book detailing about chows care. Really. This one is not the one. i bought it from Amazon. It took a month before it reached me.
My wishlist I want to read in a chow book
-feed guide, weight guide, obese or not?
-play guide, how many minutes?
-deworming schedule
-how to do emergency procedures if sprained or the like.
-milk substitute for the puppy
-gestation period etc.
-training! Housebreaking, setting boundaries.
