I just got a call from one of the places I recently applied for a job at, and I have an interview on Monday! I'm nervous but excited at the same time. I REALLY hope this works out, because that means Dixie could come out of hiding.

Thank y'all! I'm already anxious! It's my first interview EVER, so I guess that's normal. But seeing as I really NEED this to work out, I'm gonna shake off the nerves and be confident.

I really am not sure how we've managed to keep her hidden. She's quiet and really well-behaved in the house, but there have been times when we've seriously thought my dad knows... but then when we tell him "we're watching her for the weekend" he makes a HUGE fuss over it, so we really don't see how he could know.

The interview (which wasn't much an interview, more the guy bringing us in and showing us around the warehouse and telling us about the job) went REALLY well! He made it sound like I've definitely got the job and I should be expecting a call in the next few days to start.

Thank y'all! I'll get use to the early mornings, but I dunno if I'll get use to the being on my feet for 7-8 hours a day... My back and feet are killing me... And I'm not happy that I was gone from 5 AM to 5:48 PM... Almost 13 hours ... At least that's not gonna be a regular thing. I got off work at 3:30 PM (worked an hour overtime...) and then went by the bank to open a direct deposit account... So, hopefully, I won't be gone that long everyday...

Epsom Salts in a bath for achy tired bodies and good really good sensible ugly shoes (all sensible shoes are ugly). I work retail and good shoes are so important.
