make a web site

Post by Babu »

Hi Guys

when one runs an alternative OS on pays the price , browser mozilla 0.92 was not up to the code on this site ,
so i loaded firefox , it is multipatform and will work

<a href="http://www.spreadfirefox.com/?q=affilia ... t=61"><img border="0" alt="Get Firefox!" title="Get Firefox!" src="http://sfx-images.mozilla.org/affiliate ... .gif"/></a>

I want to every one to consider making a web site for thier chow . it is easy .

i use angelfire and is is easy .
do you remember old chyno's website

http://www.angelfire.com/ut2/chow/

and the new boys's

http://www.angelfire.com/ut2/chow/

i don't have a lot on the new guys , the Hero Chow's but i am very low on energy . it has an open Blog which any one can blog on if they are an angelfire member , and it is free.

another site i ' wacked' up is

http://www.angelfire.com/stars5/foreverchows

it too has an open blog and has open remark or comment on the photo album . neither is fancy but the pic's of these chow are up and if chyno's site is an example , will stay up for a very long time ..

try it for your chow .. it is pretty easy , all you need are digital pics to publish up . , if you get it the way you like you can put it on some rings and get more traffic . more traffice will make a free site more likely to stay alive //

i was well into the irish one night and got called on my plea for chows to live forever on the web in cyberspace , ,, all these chow gone over the bridge and when i cross it since i hacked up a little site for them i expect to be surrounded by a crowd of chow .. ,,, the divels will stay back if you have a crowd of chow around ..

there are so many choices on this new siter i get confused ..

do me a favor and take your chow for a walk a Spirit_chow may well join you ..

Hello Bubba and Gwrol the brave patriot.
I am going to have a go with a page for Milly and Mabel.
But at the moment, it is bedtime here on the Island. I love the pictures of The old Guy and The New Guy. Beautiful Chows, both. :)

easy websites

Post by Babu »

well Judy it is an easy thing to do .

there are many FREE hosting services , i use angel fire because when i did the first one they had easy FTP ..

there is a Link on Gwrols site [ i think] for anglefire . //

a site can be as complex or as simple as you like , look at gwrol;s , the Forever Chows and Chyno's and i can explain how to do both kinds.. .. if you notice on the Forever Chow it has both kinds there .
I suppose the first step is to decude on the pictures you like/want ,, size them , [ be surre they are not HIREZ ] since it takes so long for them to load . Make a folder or directory on you home machune and save the pics you want into thaT FOLDER .. ..

I still haver not got tany new pics up on the heros sitte .. i have been home and doing spring cleaning and it is wearing me out

most important
Have Fun

Yeh! Michael - whatever! Sounds easy when you say it. :?
Anyway, there is a link on Gwrol's site so I am going to follow the instructions. But this weekend, Fred and I have to make a back gate for our neighbour so that her black mutt cannot get out.
Fair do's - he is a very nice dog - but terrified of fireworks - he is the one I have to stop everything I am doing to go and sit with him - the stupid mutt - the minute a firework goes off he decides to eat up the house!

Ah well - I will get a bit of time soon...............

Please give the Brave Welsh Boy a hug for me and the pretty little Lady.

easy

Oh Judy
it is very easy ,
i giess the link to angle fire is off ogf gwrols , however it is on the Forever chow site

http://www.angelfire.com/stars5/foreverchows/

if you have a bunch of pics sized you can have them showing very fast .. remember we are speaking of file size ,
30 K is a good size , 300K is very much to big //

1] get a site
2] ] upload the images into a folder in the site
3/ make a photo album and direct it to the folder where the pics are .
4] edit the index.html to link to those places ..

later you can use the ediitor that your browser has to drag and drop the pics into and put some lanuage in ..

not so hard to do

Thank you Michael,
I almost think I understand.
This weekend Fred and I have made a back gate for our neighbour so that she can keep her dog in her back garden. We put the posts in whilst M & M watched us through our party hedge then we came back into our garden to make the gate.
We cut all the wood to the right side and so on then - well - then, when we had it laid out on the grass, Mabel went and stood on it! :?

Whether she was helping or hindering or just damned right nosy, we don't know but she would not move. I took a picture of her! little moo! :)

Anyway, point of story is - it is jolly difficult to finish building gate with Chow lady standing on it! So, job took longer and I have not had time to test my wits against building a web page.

But, I will do!

Love to The Lad and The Lady.
