totally non-chow; my first car

Post by Victory »

Some of you may remember that I got my drivers license at the end of last October. Well today I brought home my first car. It's not new, kind of old just like me but looks pretty good and runs great.

It's a 1995 Saturn SL-2, and yep it's black.

Thanks everyone. I'm having a lot of fun, best thing so far is being able to leave a bit later in the morning and still get to work on time and be warm while I'm doing it. I can't wait for the first really nice spring saturday, I'm going to get the boy and girl and go on a road trip!

The coolest thing about it so far is INDEPENDENCE!! Like last week I broke my reading classes at work, and I didn't have to ask someone if they minded giving me a ride up to the local Target store so I could replace them, I just went out hopped my little car and went up there by myself. I like being able to do that.

Have your chowdren claimed their space? Pip always rides behind me, and Lily on the passenger side in back, or she rides with her front feet on the armrest, just off my right elbow. Once about 6 months ago, Pip rode on the passenger side. Both Haley and I were shocked. We had to check to see if she felt okay!
