Tour De France Thread
Anyone else out there following?
been looking forward to this one for months.
battle for Astana team leader could be epic, hope it doesn't become a distraction to their performance.
leipheimer over armstrong by 10 seconds in the time trial, contador yet to clock in.
should be a great race

Absolutely, dude!
I have watched this event religiously since the mid 90's.
last year, my interest was only mild after the breakup of Team Discovery left levi and alberto without teams. two favorites not even in the race, please!!
but this year should make up for it

You're funny!
I don't watch it, I'm a girl you know, but I'll think about you the last day of the Tour, the final arrival is nearly below my windows .

Only if you bring Wiley with you so Coco can play with him, she thinks he's really a handsome chow boy... .

Re: Tour De France Thread
Elodie you may have my DH knocking on your door too, he watches every year and was sick with disbelief that anyone could actually watch the Tour De France from their window - never mind that it was the final stretch.
Re: Tour De France Thread
Elodie, you will have to get that photo finish and post it. LOL
Re: Tour De France Thread

Re: Tour De France Thread
Bramble has come all over Scottish today - she ate three thistles out the weed pile. Why will my dog not eat dog food at the moment but insists on eating thistles and carrots!! She is just plain weird. She also stole part of a lettuce while my back was turned that was still growing.
Re: Tour De France Thread
Bramble is a little Scottish princess, that's all!

Re: Tour De France Thread
Had to put a fence around the vegetable garden here. Cinder was eating all my tomatoes and cucumbers right off the vine a few years ago.

Re: Tour De France Thread
Oh Cinders you bad girl. I'm glad to know Bramble is not the only veg lover. She goes berserk when she hears a chopping board being placed on the work top. By the time I have a knife out she is sitting at my feet yipping for chopped veg. If she is in the garden at the time she thrusts her head through the cat door and yip yip yips at me till I give her some carrot!
Re: Tour De France Thread
i didn't know if there would be any interest amongst the membership here in the Tour de France. but, i had no idea that a cycling thread would involve into a discussion about chows eating out of vegetable gardens, talk about a thread hijack
its all good though, carry on
