Devil dog ranch

Post by Jeff&Peks »

Take a look at this website, there's some good Chow success stories and a Chow that is actually letting people groom him. The bad part is Pekoe's not letting us groom her looks like the Chow that was being neglected.

I love the name of the rescue, Devil dog ranch

Hey - thanks, guys!

Wow, just stumbled across this discussion board and it sure took me by surprise to see my very own site as a subject line! hehehe. Yup, I LOVE those Chows and campaign on their behalf whenever and wherever I can.

The name was bestowed on my humble Echo Park bungalow by a friend some years ago. My original Devil Dog was Ripley, a black Chow-Rottie mix, seen here: http://www.devildogranch.com/rainbowbridge.html
I'd had other dogs, but Ripley was my learning curve and got me interested in Chows! He was dog aggressive, a cat killer and a brilliant escape artist. So sweet with people, though...

Anyway, I thank you for your kind comments.

Sadly, one of my very own rescues needs to be re-homed due to some realllly bad pack dynamics between her and my eldest female Zazu (who won't back off...).

If any of you would be so kind as to pass along this page I made up for my Chow princess Opal, I would be so grateful. Needless to say, only THE BEST home will do!

Thanks,
Marsha
