from Terrina,

It was no problem changing the date to the 14th.

Maybe you dreamed that Maxine was white fushia pink ears and baby blue tail because people have been writting that you were going to have a Diva in her. She is all tom boy. She loves playing with the boys. She does love to get up on the bed. I had laid down for a few months yesterday and she got up with me. Then Ai Shu decided to join us so then they thought it was fun to beat me up. Larry was at his computer trying not to laugh.

Maxine is now registered through 24 Pet watch. Are you sending her new collar? I will wait to put the Pet Watch tag on that one if you are. I have one of our TLC tags on the collar I have on her now. I will also put that tag on her while she is being transported.

When Maxine was being introduced to her she seems to realize that Naomi has a handicap. She doesn't try playing with her.

Terrina

Last night I had a dream that Maxine was white with fuschi pink floppy ears and a baby blue tail. wierd.... Maxine certainly sound wonderful, I hope she goes sleepies with me too.

It sounds like you'll have no trouble getting Maxine to sleep on the bed!

The meaning of the name Maxine is Greatest

The origin of the name Maxine is French

She was named after a very special boy Maxwell.

Can I ask what nick names are there for Maxine?

I used to call Maxwell, Maximo, Maximus and Maxiedoodles.

Hmmm, how about Maxirina or Maxilu.

I can't wait to hear about her trip on Saturday! She looks likes she is going to be a little pistol who is going to keep her new brother Yoshi busy.

David, I see some Keeshond in the mix, and my first impression seeing her face did remind me of Maxwell's kind eyes.

All best wishes go out to you and your family.

The dream might be about you trying to form a composite picture, from head to tail, of what you already know about her temperament and other qualities, and comparing those to your other Chows. For example, focusing on the head/ears - you are thinking about how headstrong she is, how well she's trained (whether she 'listens'), the highlight color in the dream is fushia, a *bolder* and *stronger* 'feminine' pink, and the ears are 'relaxed' not rigid. The tail can symbolize a dog's courage/dominance, whether held upright in assertive dominance or lowered in submissiveness. The 'baby' blue highlight color is a less powerful male color, so in your dream you may be comparing her bold feminine qualities against Yoshi's adult male qualities, in terms of being compatible.

Since you also asked about nicknames, I'll suggest "Moxie" for her spunk and courage.

All best wishes...

If I recall correctly, the keeshond breed *does* also have Chow blood in the lineage, but was developed to be very friendly and loving family
dogs. Maxine seems to have those Keeshond temperament qualities
too. I think she'll really blossom under your care. I share your happiness and wish you all the best!

Maxi or Maxima. I call my girls things that sound nothing like their names. Pip is Dipper or Booey. Also goes by the alias Poops LaRue. Don't ask, it just came out of my mouth one day. Lily is Twilla, or Twillaboo, pronounced like the fabric. Sometimes she is Boobala...any help? \:D/

Frisco was Pup, Bud, or Bubby. Carter is pretty much just Bubs or Carter Bubs. Cash is Cashers or Cash Crash (he's losing his sight, so he sometimes walks into things). I have a Rogue Baby. My previous dog, Max I called Maxy, but everyone liked to change that into "Maxi Pad".
