acting crazy

Post by Trevor »

My cousin's chow acts crazy once in a while where he tears around the house almost ripping up the carpet. After about 5 minutes he calms down like nothing ever happened. Is this normal?

Sounds like what a lot of us refer to as a "zoomie". Zoomies are good things, it usually means the Chow is very happy/excited.

I posted this video of my two doing a double zoomie almost 2 years ago. When I first joined this site, I asked about this too. I thought something was wrong :?

I loved that video! Scarlet and my chow/GS mix will have "zoomies" all over the house and yard. I have learned its very helpful to know how to jump out of the way.
