Chow tail

Is it normal to have black tip tail and a black spot on the tail for chows??

I don't think it's uncommon. Our young boy has it. I like to think of it as a reminder of his dad, a black chow. Mom was a red.

How old is your chow? My male had a black tip until he was close to two years old. It is now solid white.

He's 6.5 months old.

For me I think it is normal for a chow, and if he's grow may lose the black spot.
