I am glad to be here! some questions! :)
Hello friends, i am glad to be next to your as a Chow Chow Guardian! I hope that my little girl will live a long & happy life with me! I live in İstanbul / Turkey and if you comes here, please inform me!
I have some questions, Vet told me to give 90 gr. food daily but she wants to eat more.. Whats you opinion for 10 week lady? Also, what you give your Chow as reward food? Now i am giving ready food selling at market for dog reward foods but i want to give natural things as apple, caju, peanut. Is it possible at this age?
By the way, i am sending you pics of my friend. She has fully black tongue and mouth now, i think that she has good breed but she looks like a teddy bear more than a Chow chow Waiting your comments!
Take a Rest Mocha!

Your little girls is very cute! I am not certain how much food is 90 grams. I found it easier to measure with a cup rather than to weigh. I think I fed about 1/2 a cup 3 or 4 times per day. I do offer treats when they are young. Some of my puppies would eat bits of fruit but they all love small pieces of cheese and cooked meats. I usually saved the yummy treats for when we are training. I have never given nuts. They all love boiled eggs! I give them the egg whole on the floor and let them figure out that it is food! It is funny watching them paw it around, biting into it. Not certain if it is a toy.

We have had Chows for 25 years. We feed our chows fresh range free eggs, chicken and beef. fruit and peanut butter for treats. We feed them Canidae all stages food and they eat freely when they are hungry. Our Chows are very healthy and have food and fresh water available day and night. They are not a greedy breed and never over eat. Our Breeder feeds all of her's the same way. I hope this helps.

Dear friends, thank you for your replies. I will feed her as you do! Why Chowchow.org forum is very inactive? By the way, my chow chow is 16 weeks now and has 8.2 KG. Is it low? She will be a small girl? )) (12 week 4,5 kg, 13 week 5,5 kg, 14 week 6,5 kg, 15 week 7,2 kg)
