New pup, full of joy!

Hi all!
I've been visiting this site for quite some time now and i've finally collected my cream chow pup of 3 months old!
He's brought alot of joy to my family and i and i was just wondering what the healthy weight of a chow pup of 3 months?
Caleb is 5.7kg the last we checked and i was just wondering if thats a healthy standard weight?
I feel like im worrying over every nitty gritty detail.
Guess it comes from loving your chow chow too much

Anyway, i've learnt so much from this forum so thank you all who posted.

I think thats normal, our Marlee is about 3 months now and she weights in at 15lbs.

My three month old is 13.6kg!!! But he is a whopper! I think that it varies a heck of a lot and as long as the doggy isnt too fat (cant feel ribs) or two thin (ribs jut out) and is bright and lively then I dont think it matters too much.

Rio was 12kgs at 12 weeks, but like Fozzbear said all dogs are different, and as long as they are eating ok, I wouldn't worry.

Louie was 20lbs at 12 weeks and is 30lbs at 16 weeks.

Hi there, I have just joined up too and also have a 3 month old cream chow. He recently had a check up and vaccination and his weight was 6.5kg, similar weight to yours and the vet made no comment, so I'm sure it must be fine. I would love to see a photo of the 13.6kg whopper!

Don't worry about how much he weighs. The slower chows grow the better. You should be more concerned about socializing him and making him use to being groomed and his nails done. Enjoy your puppy because they grow fast.

hi, i'm a newbie here..Peanut my 2 month-old chow weighed 4.7kgs..i hope my chow could grow as much as 10 kgs when she turns 3 months old
