Grooming Routine*

Post by Rebecca_Gus2448 »

Morning,

I was wondering what are the best routines for keeping the fur soft or well maintained. If you guys can please suggest your favorite products and tools if you groom your chows yourselves.

Thank you!

Aware this post is over a month old, hopefully you figured some of this out by now.

If not though, you will want at least a pin brush or a slicker to groom the puppy fur. If you have time, do daily just to get her used to it. With a pup, you should bath her no more than every 2 -3 weeks unless she gets really dirty. Any more and you risk drying out the skin. Make sure to completely dry before letting her outside. Don't use a 'person' hair dryer, they are too hot.
