New member - skin allergies
Hi have just joined your forum seeking some help with my year old boy Loki who we acquired as a 12 week old rescue pup after he'd been imported illegally by a puppy ring via Hungary. Our basic history on him is thus sketchy , he's a lovely affectionate red roughcoat but came to us with "a gluten allergy". Is being fed on Arden Grange sensitive dry food and Natural Instinct raw dog meat. He regularly has hot spots and scratches till he bleeds. Vet tried steroids then put him on new drug Aquepel, said he would be on it for life. The minute we try to ease off on these tablets the scratching starts again. There has to be a better way to treat this other than meds for life (and side effects) and the cost £60 a month. Glad to hear anyone's thoughts on this , all advice gratefully received. Johnsie51
