Chow chow puppy
Is this a chow chow? If not with which breed you think she is mixed? We bought her one week ago from a breeder who says that she is pure but she has a brindle colour and her tongue is pink with purple spots. What do you think? The vet said us that she is almost 2 months old! Please help us understand her breed!

You have a very cute puppy but she does not look all chow. Sometimes you see a chow listed as "blue merle" but it is not recognized in the chow standard. I would have to see the DNA to believe that it is not something mixed. You can get information on DNA on the AKC website at http://www.akc.org/?nav=classichome
If you really want to know about your puppy you can always do a DNA test. As long as you love her it doesn't really matter though.

We are considering of doing a DNA test but since we live in Cyprus we do not know where we can get one. She is very cute and we love her very very much but we live in a small apartment and we have to know what her actual size. Thank you so much again for answering
