Hello, I'm New!
Hi everyone!
I'm Shannon, a 24 year old year old college student from NJ. I recently lost my little boy Max to a sudden on-set of heart disease. He was two months shy of 14 years old, a fluffy, stocky, almost Chow-like regal, confident, and cuddly yorkshire terrier. He always reminded me of a chow. I grew up with chows, my aunts all had them in black and they were so loveable, so the breed has always kept a place in my heart. When I got Max, the reason I picked him out was because how much he reminded me of my aunt's black Bear chow. And Max stayed puffy all of his life (maybe he had a chow spirit! )
Anyways, I'm glad to have found this site as I am now researching into adding a beautiful little chow baby to my family. We're devastated without the pitter patter and companionship of a fur baby.
I look forward to chatting with you all and hopefully gaining some great tips, insight, advice, and help on this journey to add an addition to my family.
Great to be here,
Shannon
